Somnath Roy, Ph.D. is an experienced leader in the field of Data Science and Machine Learning with over 10 years of experience. Currently working as a Staff ML Engineer at Freshworks, he specializes in Conversational AI, Speech Recognition, and Machine Learning. He has a proven track record in driving new initiatives and converting ideas into impactful products. Somnath is skilled in various areas of Machine Learning/Deep Learning such as NLP/NLU, Speech Recognition, IR, Causal Inference, and Time Series Analytics. He is fluent in the Python ML ecosystem and has worked on various projects related to Speech-To-Text, Automatic Call Summarization, and Language Identification.
